“ First time at Salerno for lunch and was very impressed! I went with my family of 10 and everyone tried something different and really liked it. I had the margherita pizza and it was perfect, very similar to ones I've had in Europe with fresh ingredients and woodfire cooked. The service was friendly and family oriented, it was a very nice meal! ”
“ If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out! The eggplant parm was superb! The bread was freshly made and they give you great salad portions. Excellent service and atmosphere. You could actually hear the person you are eating with without loud background noise. Highly recommend! As you can see from the photos, I couldn’t wait to dig in! ”
“ It was our first time here. The service was top notch. Myself, my husband and three kiddos were treated so nice and they were so attentive. We had calamari and the mozzarella sticks to start. The batter was light and not greasy. I had lasagna which was delicious and flavorful. My daughter had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and my boys had the kids butter noodles with chicken added. My husband had the mushroom noodles with garlic butter sauce and added chicken. It was ALL good. The bread was soft and buttery. It's hard to please all 5 of us but this place checked all the boxes. Next time I want to try the pizza, it looks really good! Highly recommended! ”
“ What a gem of a restaurant. I’m Italian and grew up in the East Coast and know real good Italian food. Let me tell you this place has it all. First class service, And every course we had from the appetizer to the salad to my veal saltimboca was off the charts. It has to be the best Italian restaurant in the Austin area. ”
“ This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it! The food was hot, fresh, and very flavorful. Our waitress Emily was personable and attentive. We met the owner and he was warm and genuine. You can tell that his heart is in the place. The overall atmosphere was welcoming. (One minor point of improvement would be to add some sound dampening panels to help the acoustics. But I think almost every restaurant could use that.) We will definitely be back to try some other dishes and the deserts. Thank you for a nice night out! ”
“ Great atmosphere and the food is delish. They let me customize their lemon picatta. added chicken, mushrooms, and prosciutto. Yummy Yumm. Update 5/7: It got late on us and too tired to cook. The family voted to go to Salerno's. Family friendly and owner and staff are always welcoming. My second time within 2 months and the food quality is still good and filling. “ Valentine’s Day dinner set was great! My fiance gave me a surprise by booking this restaurant. I am glad we ordered their Valentine’s Day special. I could tell the restaurant and cook use their heart to prepare the meal. The dishes are so cute and delicious. I wish they could continue to have something similar (dinner special set) per month/per special theme/holiday. North Austin needs these. ”
“ Me and the fiancee went for a quick lunch. Service was excellent. The food, oh man the food. High quality for an absolute reasonable price. The only downside was that my stomach wasn’t big enough to eat it all right then and there. ”
